
Rules and Regulations
Eligibility and Age Categories:

The competition is open to musicians of all ages and nationalities.

Age classification will be based on the participant’s age as of February 23, 2025.

Participants will be divided into the following age categories:
-
Category A: 19 years and older
-
Category B: 16-18 years
-
Category C: 13-15 years
-
Category D: 10-12 years
-
Category E: up to 9 years
-
Category 4 Hands - Duo (no age limit)

Repertoire and Performance Submission:
-
Participants are free to choose their repertoire.
-
There is no time limit on the performance submitted via video link. There is also no minimum duration required.
-
If the performances are short, they can be submitted within a single video link.

Evaluation Process and Result Announcement:
-
The jury committee reserves the right to alter the dates for the announcement of results in case of any delays in the evaluation process.

The names and performance videos of the winners will be published on our website and social media channels as per the schedule provided.

Prize Details:

The Grand Prize Winner(s) will perform live at the prestigious Mozarthaus Vienna Concert Hall on May 25, 2025. This live performance will be professionally recorded in both audio and video formats.

The 1st prize winner in each category will be invited to perform in a live concert at the 5th Piano Festival in EskiÅŸehir, scheduled for March 27, 2025. The prize includes a certificate and a professional photo shoot at the award ceremony.

The 2nd prize winner in each category will be invited to attend the award ceremony at the 5th Piano Festival in EskiÅŸehir, scheduled for March 27, 2025. The prize includes a certificate and a professional photo shoot at the award ceremony.

The 3rd prize winner in each category will be invited to attend the award ceremony at the 5th Piano Festival in EskiÅŸehir, scheduled for March 27, 2025. The prize includes a certificate and a professional photo shoot at the award ceremony.
FERHUNDE ERKİN and MITHAT FENMEN Special Awards: -
The winners of these special awards will be invited to attend the award ceremony at the 5th Piano Festival in EskiÅŸehir, scheduled for March 27, 2025. The prize includes a certificate and a professional photo shoot at the award ceremony.
Honour Awards: -
The recipients of the Honour Award will be invited to attend the award ceremony at the 5th Piano Festival in EskiÅŸehir, scheduled for March 27, 2025. The prize includes a certificate and a professional photo shoot at the award ceremony.

Additional special certificates will be presented to young talents in recognition of exceptional performances.
Recognition and Certificates -

All winners will be announced on the official competition website and social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

Prize-winning participants will be invited to the award ceremony. Those unable to attend will receive their achievement certificates via email.

Printed certificates can be requested for an additional fee to cover shipping costs.
-
Participants who do not win a prize can request a Certificate of Participation to be sent electronically for a fee of 25 Euros.
-
Teachers and accompanying persons can also request a certificate to be sent electronically for 25 Euros.
Application Process:
-
The application fee is €45 for each solo category and €70 for the 4 Hands - duo category (no age limit). Please note that the fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. By submitting their application, participants agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the competition.

Payments must include the participant’s full name and the reference "Ankara Piano Competition."
-
Recordings must be captured with a single camera that clearly shows the musician’s face and hands.
-
Video links should be provided during the registration process, though they may also be sent via email before the competition's registration deadline.
Rights and Usage:
-
By registering, participants allow the organizer to freely dispose of the photo, audio, and video recordings submitted to the competition for documentation and public relations on its website and social media.

The judgment of the jury is final.
-
Due to delays in the evaluation process by the competition jury committee, the organization reserves the right to change the dates provided for the announcement of the results.
